Laurence Bowers from Missouri has earned StatSheet's SEC Player of the Week award for December 24th. Florida's Michael Frazier II has won StatSheet's SEC Freshman of the Week. Also, Tony Criswell from Missouri is the StatSheet SEC 6th Man of the Week. Bowers registered 50% shooting, 6 rebounds per game, and 17 points per game. The Missouri senior played well in victories versus South Carolina State and 10th ranked Illinois.

Bowers added 11 points and 2 rebounds in 20 minutes in a big 102-51 win over South Carolina State. He followed that up with a team-leading 23 points plus an additional 10 rebounds in an 82-73 upset of Illinois.

This is the first time that Laurence Bowers has been named the StatSheet SEC Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is Missouri senior Alex Oriakhi. Honorable mention goes to Arkansas sophomore B.J. Young. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finished 17th and was the highest ranking player from Georgia.

StatSheet SEC Freshman of the Week: Florida's Michael Frazier II

Michael Frazier II played an average of 22 minutes while starting both games for Florida. In an 82-43 waxing of Southeastern Louisiana, Frazier II rang up 12 points and 6 rebounds. Following that in a 67-61 loss to Kansas State, he put up 3 points and 3 rebounds.

This is a new honor for Michael Frazier II, the first time he has won StatSheet SEC Freshman of the Week. The runner-up is Gavin Ware from Mississippi State. Honorable mention goes to Archie Goodwin from Kentucky. Charles Mann was the highest ranking freshman from Georgia and finished 11th.

StatSheet SEC 6th Man of the Week: Missouri's Tony Criswell

Tony Criswell, a 6-9 Junior forward, averaged 19 minutes over the two games for the Tigers. In the win over South Carolina State, Criswell got 8 points and 8 rebounds. During the win over Illinois, he racked up 7 points and 5 rebounds.

This is the second StatSheet SEC 6th Man of the Week honor for Tony Criswell. Anthony Hickey, a sophomore guard from LSU, is runner up. Shavon Coleman, a junior forward from LSU, receives honorable mention. Georgia has yet to win StatSheet SEC Player of the Week.
